Care & Co Group will lead the next phase of growth for Care & Living with Mercer, with the service transitioning to Care & Co Match by 30 November 2025.

Over the past four years, Mercer has developed and grown the innovative service, which has supported many Australians and their families in navigating aged care, home care and retirement living. To support the program’s long-term scalability and sustainability, Mercer is transitioning the service to Care & Co Group to guide its next chapter.

Lauren Todorovic, CEO and Founder of Care & Co Group, said the transition aligns with the group’s mission to improve how care is delivered, experienced and supported across Australia.

“Care & Living with Mercer has helped many Australians find clarity and confidence in their care decisions,” Ms Todorovic said.

“We’re proud to continue that legacy through Care & Co Match, expanding its reach and supporting more employers, superannuation funds, and financial advisers, insurers, and other partners in assisting their employees and clients with access to quality aged care, home care, and retirement options.”

Will Burkitt, General Manager of Care & Co Match, said the transition marks an opportunity for continuity and growth under the Care & Co Group.

“Our goal is a seamless transition for everyone who relies on Care & Living with Mercer,” Mr Burkitt said.

“By bringing the service into the Care & Co Group, with its deep reach across aged care, home care and retirement living, we can build on its strong foundation and help even more Australians find the right care at the right time.”

Care & Co Match helps individuals, families, and organisations navigate aged care, home care, and retirement options with empathy, expertise, and practical guidance. The need for this support continues to grow. Unpaid carers contribute an estimated $77.9 billion to the Australian economy each year, providing the equivalent of 2.2 billion hours of unpaid work. Almost 3 million Australians currently act as carers for loved ones, and among working-age carers, women are disproportionately affected, with only 50% in full-time work compared with 77% of men.

By partnering with employers, superannuation funds, and financial advisers, insurers and other partners, Care & Co Match helps reduce the personal and financial toll of caring. The service supports wellbeing, retention and productivity across Australian workplaces while helping families access the right care sooner.
