Leaders in the aged care industry are facing ongoing challenges including skilled workforce shortages, increasing community expectations and ever changing economic challenges. While each organisation has its own challenges to be addressed, the difficulties faced by industry and specifically the aged care sector are common across the board.

HelloLeaders will share industry insights but also knowledge and experience from respected leaders from a broad range of other sectors and put a spotlight on how good leadership can tackle a diversity of changes and challenges. Our vision is to provide a platform where leaders can learn from leaders to collectively drive the future of aged and community care.

Victoria has appointed its first Chief Palliative Care Adviser, Associate Professor Mark Boughey, to lead a refresh of the state’s End of Life and Palliative Care Framework. The six-month role will focus on modernising policy, strengthening services, and ensuring all Victorians have access to compassionate, high-quality care.
